Why Study in Canada?

A globally recognised education system with a multicultural student experience

Canada continues to be an internationally preferred destination for students because of its high-standard education, globally recognised qualifications, modern research infrastructure, experienced faculty and diverse communities.

For eligible students, studying in Canada can also include opportunities to work while studying and, depending on the program and current immigration rules, possible post-graduation work pathways.

Planning matters. Immigration and student-program requirements can change, so our team starts by assessing your profile, academic background, goals and documentation.

Good applications are built through planning, accurate documentation and a course choice that makes sense for your profile.

Study Permit Extension

If you need to continue studying, plan early. Current IRCC guidance generally requires students continuing at the same school to apply before expiry, and different rules can apply when changing institutions or restoring status.

Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)

We can guide eligible temporary residents on TRV documentation for travel and re-entry planning, depending on their current status and circumstances.

Refused Cases

A refusal is a setback—not automatically the end of the journey.

Our team reviews refusal reasons, the documents previously submitted and the overall story of the application. We then identify weaknesses and discuss practical options for strengthening the next step.

Depending on the facts, options may include a better-supported new application or considering other available remedies. Timelines and suitability vary, so we do not use a one-size-fits-all refusal strategy.

Canada Visa FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to common questions before you start.

How can D-Square Visa help with a Canada study visa?

We support students with profile assessment, program selection, admission documentation, study permit documentation, application preparation and post-visa guidance.

Can international students work while studying in Canada?

Eligible international students may work while studying if they meet IRCC requirements and the conditions on their study permit. Current rules allow eligible students to work off campus up to the permitted weekly limit during regular academic sessions and more during eligible scheduled breaks.

Can my spouse get an open work permit while I study in Canada?

Possibly. Current eligibility is limited to spouses or common-law partners of students in certain qualifying programs, such as eligible master’s, doctoral and specified professional degree programs. We check the latest criteria against your situation before advising.

What happens if my Canada visa has already been refused?

We can review the refusal letter, previous application and supporting evidence to identify weaknesses. Depending on the circumstances, a stronger new application or another available option may be considered. Approval can never be guaranteed.

Do you help with Canada visitor and Super Visa applications?

Yes. In addition to study permits, we assist with visitor visas, eligible Super Visa applications, selected spouse open work permits and certain onshore services.

Do I need IELTS or PTE to study in Canada?

Language requirements depend on the institution, program and application pathway. We can review your target course and guide you on the relevant requirement. You can also explore our IELTS & PTE preparation services.
